Simeox liquefies and shifts bronchial mucus, even from the very distal parts of the lungs, reducing the risk of bronchial collapse. The Oxytek OX-5A and OX-10A are medical-grade oxygen concentrators designed to ensure a consistent supply of high-concentration oxygen at a high flow rate. These units operate relatively silently, enhancing patient relaxation. They are compatible with HEPA filters, providing an additional protective layer for patients. The concentrators can deliver medication along with oxygen supply, making them versatile in various medical settings.

HFNC is a heated and humidified system that allows prescribed fraction of inspired oxygen (FIO2) levels to be delivered at very high flow rates.

When HFNC is used to deliver oxygen, the flow rates are much higher than what can be achieved with traditional nasal cannula. This results in a greater delivery of prescribed oxygen into the lungs, and less entrainment of room air. 

HFNC also exerts its effect by providing some variable positive pressure. By providing variable positive pressure, use of high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) increases functional residual capacity (FRC) compared to use of traditional nasal cannula.

It is suitable for self-testing at home, offering a quick and reliable method to identify these respiratory viruses.

The COVID-19 Antigen Test Cassette (Nasal Swab) / (Saliva) is intended for the rapid, qualitative detection of COVID-19 antigens in saliva or nasal swab specimens. This self-testing device helps diagnose COVID-19 in individuals with suspected infection, providing results that must be interpreted alongside clinical history and other diagnostic information. Positive results indicate the presence of viral antigens, while negative results do not rule out infection and should be confirmed with a molecular assay if necessary.

The test operates on the principle of a qualitative membrane strip-based immunoassay. Specific antibodies for SARS-CoV-2 are immobilized on the test strip. When a sample from a nasal swab or saliva is applied, any present antigens bind to these antibodies. This reaction causes a coloured line to appear on the test strip, indicating a positive result. If no antigens are present, no line appears in the test region, while a control line ensures the test is functioning correctly.
